Are you kidding me?

Gay familes were eager to be identified this year at the annual Easter Roll at the White House. They lined up early - three days early to be exact - so they could have the chance to be seen by the first lady and the president. So they could make them see that their familes are as part of the American landscape as any other family.

And what does the White House do?

At the eleventh hour they change the rules. They move youth volunteers to the head of the line and instead of being seen by the First Family of this country they and all the other familes that arrived early were allowed to roll eggs with actors in costumes on the White House lawn. Will any major media outlets cover this bait and switch - nope.

Unbelievable!

Moving Forward...

In life it gets really easy as we grow older to sit still in whatever level of comfort we are used too. It could be a romantic relationship, a friendship, or a job. Our day to day existence is judged by if an event is better than the normal or worse then the normal.

Shaking up this routine isn't easy and the prospect of doing so can be mighty scary but there are opportunities that come our way that require us to act.

One such moment has happened and although I adore having 'control' over my life I decided to release some of it and leave tomorrow up to chance. For now I choose to move forward and it feels wonderful.

Now each tomorrow holds the prospect of getting to the moment when the leap is finally complete.

The world is filled with possibilities again and I feel more alive then I have in a long time.

Is it scary to leap? Hell, yes.

But I am so glad I did because my current day to day will soon be no more!
